First of all, I will like to clarify that I am only the English teacher of Care 6. I am not the form teacher, the form teacher is Mdm Yar. I have my own form class already.
Thank you for the emails and calls that I have received from some of you. Indeed, I made a mistake in the Term 3 spelling list. However, the words are all correct. There were changes in the Learning Journey dates so initially 12 July I had to bring Care 3 out for Learning Journey so I put 12 July as no spelling. However, the schedule has changed. Please follow the spelling list so the next one will be on 19 July Friday instead. For Term 4 spelling, I will be more careful with the dates part. Sorry for the confusion caused.
For Term 3 Weeks 1 and 2, we are reading the Big Book The Jigaree. It is on a book about a space creature called the Jigaree that likes to imitate a boy's actions. The grammar items to take note in this book are present continuous verbs. For example, The Jigaree is dancing after me. The Jigaree is running after me. In these sentences, the students have learnt that 'is running' are present continuous verbs. In terms of vocabulary, we explored words like Planet, Mars, outer space, space ship, alien, robot etc.
